RICHMOND CENTRE SET TO UNDERGO INTERNAL RENOVATION

Richmond, B.C. – Richmond Centre is pleased to announce that it is set to undergo an internal renovation in the southwest wing of the mall. The renovation is expected to begin in early March and it is anticipated that all new and relocated retail stores in the mall will be in place within a minimum of 12 months from the start of the renovation.

“Richmond is a major urban centre and Richmond Centre is renovating to best serve our customers,” said Leslie Matheson, Director of Marketing at Richmond Centre. “We are in the very early stages of this renovation and will update our customers throughout the process. It is an exciting time for Richmond Centre and we are looking forward to when we can announce more news about the renovation and what it means for the people that shop here.”

Richmond Centre will be open during its regularly scheduled hours. Matheson says that all efforts possible will be taken to lessen any inconvenience to shoppers and retailers at Richmond Centre during the renovation.

Richmond Centre is one of the Lower Mainland’s largest shopping complexes with 240 stores and services. Located in the centre of Richmond, on the corner of Westminster Hwy and Minoru Boulevard, and at the Southern Terminus of the Canada Line, Richmond Centre is owned and managed by two of the largest developers in Canada, Cadillac Fairview Corporation Ltd. and Ivanhoe Cambridge II Inc.
